Living and working in London

Originally starting a career as a bicycle maker, apprenticing at Bob Jackson cycles in Leeds in 2011, Shed Six was established in 2012 and continued as a framebuilding workshop till around 2016 before being wound down to go to university. Post studying, focus changed from strictly bikes to a broader creative output ranging from the practical to the impractical but the moniker maintained.

The current iteration of Shed Six is a workshop just off the Old Kent road, offering MIG and TIG welding, Oxy-propane for bending and brazing and mill and lathe facilities for machining beautiful or not off the shelf parts. I work closely with a laser cutting and bending company so those services are also very much available. I can work from a fully resolved CAD file or can help you turn a napkin sketch into a fully resolved CAD file so we all know what we’re getting, or just work from the napkin sketch depending on the job.
